DMV Hold/Stop Notice: If you are paying a delinquent tax account for personal property, and you are aware that a DMV Hold/Stop has been applied to your account, please note that online e-checks require seven (7) calendar days to clear and the stop cannot be removed until that time has passed. If you have a DMV Hold/Stop and you satisfy your delinquent balance with a credit card, the stop will be removed the next business day.
